Egbeda/Ona-Ara PDP Hopeful, Rtn. Oluseyi Oyebamiji, Sustains Decade-Long Sponsorship of Students at Tertiary Institutions
As part of his enduring commitment to education and youth development, Rotarian Oluseyi Oyebamiji, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hopeful for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, has continued to sponsor students from his constituency currently studying at academic institutions of learning across the country.
The annual tradition has been on for close to a decade, positively impacting lives of hundreds of beneficiaries across board, and comes with providing hope for indigent but brilliant students and bringing out the potentials in them to pursue their dreams, which the challenges of finance and inaccessible education could have caused.
The scholarship covers the students’ tuition fees and accommodation costs from their first year to graduation, alongside additional incentives to support their academic success and personal well-being. The beneficiaries, selected based on academic excellence and good character have continued to excel in their respective programmes at the institutions.
Speaking on the initiative, Rtn. Oyebamiji noted that education remains a powerful tool for empowerment and societal growth. He added that investing in Education is synonymous to investing in the future and that when young people are given the right opportunities, they can contribute meaningfully to the development of our constituency and the nation at large.
Beneficiaries, Parents, Stakeholders and the Board of Directors of the Schools have applauded Oyebamiji’s consistent support for education, describing him as a compassionate leader, friend of the masses and a beacon of hope whose initiatives continue to touch lives and inspire progress Egbeda/Ona-Ara and across Oyo state.
