Congratulates Newly Elected National Chairman, Dr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki; National Secretary, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and Other Executives
Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency hopeful, Rtn. Oluseyi Oyebamiji has applauded the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the remarkable success recorded in hosting the Ibadan 2025 Elective National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend. He described the event as another testament to the governor’s exceptional leadership, organizational strength and unwavering commitment to strengthening democratic institutions in Nigeria.
In a statement issued to newsmen, Rtn. Oyebamiji noted that the peaceful, transparent and well-coordinated conduct of the convention further positioned Oyo State as a hub of political stability and excellence. He commended Governor Makinde for providing an enabling environment that ensured the smooth emergence of new national officers without rancour or controversy.
“I sincerely commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for displaying uncommon leadership in successfully hosting the PDP National Convention. The entire process showcased the unity, discipline and progressive direction that our great party stands for,” he said.
Rtn. Oyebamiji extended warm congratulations to the newly elected National Chairman, Dr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and the new National Secretary, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, describing their emergence as a significant step toward repositioning the party for greater success. He also congratulated all other newly elected national executives, noting that their collective leadership embodies renewed hope and direction for the PDP.
He expressed confidence that the new leadership team possesses the capacity, vision and experience required to strengthen party structures, unify members across the federation and deliver resounding victories in the forthcoming elections.
